The basic aim of the polyurethane foams is to provide thermal insulation. Thanks to their porous structure and low thermal conductivity, all products made from polyurethane, constitute ideal insulators. Polyurethane foam is resistant to the influence of fungi and mould. What is more, it is avoided by insects and rodents. As it is resistant to virtually all solvents, finished products made from foamed polyurethane foam can be easily cleaned and disinfected. Moreover, polyurethane foam products can be easily transported, processed and assembled. The products do not change their wearing off parameters with the passage of time. They can be used within the range of temperature between -60 to +130 Celsius degrees. Depending on the needs polyurethane foam can be non-combustible or self-extinguishing and can be applied to manual or machine inundation. Thanks to the proper polyurethane systems adhesion to virtually all materials and the fact that they are applied in a liquid form, they provide an integral insulation layer free from thermal bridges. The polyurethane systems in the thermal insulation are mostly applied in the following areas:
Depending on the technical requirements, instrumentation and processing conditions the systems listed above can be adjusted to the customers’ needs as well as new systems can be designed. |
